Let’s go to the Zoo

Once in a while someone in my family says “Let’s go to the Zoo” and immediately plans are made for a trip to the Bronx Zoo.

Fordham Road Gate entrance is the best parking area. Over 100 years old copper gates can be seen in the background.

The textures & details of the fountain are stunningly beautiful.

My favorite time to visit the zoo is during the winter months when the animals, like the Polar Bears and Tigers are enjoying the colder weather.

After entertaining us he laid down to rest

We walked the park for 3 hours encountering many animals both in & out of exhibits.

We all had a fun day together, I love when I get to spend my time with these young & exciting kids who are growing up and becoming the finest  adults. I’m so proud of them and love them dearly.

I am blessed to have them  spend a tranquil day with me visiting god’s creatures in an exquisite park.

One Response to “Let’s go to the Zoo”

  1. Great day at the zoo with people who I hold close to my heart. My favorite was watching the tiger walk around with the “swagger” of a king. His disposition tells us clearly that there is no match for him in the jungle. Your right Aunt Raine, god has put so much natural beauty around us that we could easily miss if we live life too quickly 🙂
